Hello Chris,
We regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to remove AVG Internet Security from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG Internet security new version.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST,NORTON or KASPERSKY means please try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the simple steps which mentioned below.
Remover and Download
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.

With the most recent update of my AVG on my PC running Windows 10 I got an error message saying that the update failed because 2 files are missing. I have tried a number of times and different approaches but cannot get to a solution.

Hi Aravind,
Thanks. The removal tool has worked fine but when I install AVG again and it is near complete then 2 error messages pop up saying that the files MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll is missing.  Then it says Installation failed, description: General error (0xd012) and error code: 0xE001D012.
What must I do now?

I have downloaded the tool as stated and restarted and tried to install AVG but I just got exactly the same error messages.  What now?
