And to uninstall AVG PC Tune up, please run the remover tool by clicking the following link (http://avgread.me/1LrdsaA) and select AVG PC Tune Up in the provided options. After uninstall restart your computer to complete the uninstallation.
After restart , Go to C drive and type "AVG Remover" in the search tab.
Select the file and press "Shift+Delete" to get the file permanently deleted.

I noticed that my AVG update last worked on 1st October. I have attempted to get it to update but it fails with an error message UPDATE FAILED: Update detected running installation. Complete that installation before starting update.
I have checked and have noticed that the PC TuneUp icon is showing an "error" notice telling me that the free trial period has finished. I do not want to purchase the pack. I have tried to uninstall the PC TuneUp but it will not uninstall.
I tried to unistall AVG and reinstall but again, the same messagte about detected a running installation comes up.
I have always used AVG Free and thank you but I can't update now. Please advise best way forward - without having to buy the TuneUp pack.
