Hi Alok.
No other security programs installed now. Had Ad-Aware before but it was deleted before i tried to install AVG. However AVG TuneUp has installed succesfully but the rest of AVG Ultimate is failing.

The new problem is that the Internet Security program isn't able to update the virusdefinitions. I get the followin message:

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall once again with the links you gave me
and everything seems to be working just fine, so I won't be needing Remote Support

Please uninstall AVG PC TuneUp from the control panel and click on the below link to try offline installer of AVG Ultimate

I really appreciate your effort in trying to resolve this issue.
I request you to change your DNS to the google default DNS. Please follow the below instruction to do it:
-Click Search, search for Control Panel, and then click Control Panel.
-Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
-Click Change adapter settings.
-Right-click the connection you use, and select Properties.
-Double-click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item on the Networking tab.
-Select the radio button "Use the following DNS Server addresses".
-Enter the value 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
-Click OK to confirm the changes, and then close the window.
After that, please try to update your AVG Internet Security. Keep us informed about the status.
