I tried to upload a photo of the frozen scan but cannot upload it as it exceeds your upload limit. I cannot open the jpeg in safe mode to edit it.
The first line starts with the date and time then Phase 0: Watchdog Initialization.
The last 2 lines it gets to has the date and time then Phase 1 Starting External Subsystems … the final line is the same but has Phase 1: Finished.
Thanks. Before you replied i managed to enter a startup menu on boot up by hitting space bar. There was no option for safe mode but i managed to do a system restore, removing avg. After reinstalling it wanted to restart. It is now stuck in boot up and doesnt respond to space bar, f2, f5 or f8.
Hi, after being left for 8 hours my pc would not progress from phase 1 of the tune up scan. I am unable to complete it, or boot into windows. Please help.
I managed another system restore, but still have the problem where regular mode wont progress from the startup screen with dots going around in a circle. I currently have the laptop running in safe mode with networking. How do i fix the problems caused by the avg scan? Thanks
Do you mean press the on button 3 times in a row? If not i have turndd the pc on and off multiple times.
