Hello AVG community, not sure if my previous question was posted, I need help installing my AVG free protection, it keeps giving me an error code of 0xe001d012. My laptop uses Windows 10. I had AVG before but it kept wanting updates every week and I couldnt update so I thought it best to uninstall and install an upgraded version. I have used the AVG reset access and AVG remover tools without any success. Please help.

Hello Teboho,
We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.
Please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
Gulam thank you for your response but after a frustrating spell of installation failures (even after removing every remainder of the previous version and following other tips provided on the website) I decided to go with another antivirus.
Dear Alan, I'm honestly sorry, but I did mention that I wasn't sure if my first question went through or not, I'm new to this community, I did not know!..There was seriously no need to be hostile (exclamation marks and all). Thank you for your response too.
Tebz, Please refrain from carrying out multiple postings on basically the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!.
