- I was using Free edition and have done for a long time
2) For some reason I was told that AVG did not recognise the computer.
3) Decided to purchase the full edition
4) Paid for it
5) Could not install it because 'another AVG product was operating
6) Tried to uninstall Free edition and could not
7) Tried to reinstall Free edition and got error code 0xc0070643
8) Now left £30 poorer and without virus protection.
9) Not at all happy!
