Fake Website Shield bypasses the DNS servers I have set on my router.
I use OpenDNS in order to block websites from my children's access. For tablets and other non-windows devices, it works fine. I have installed AVG on all the Windows PCs. None of the sites I have set are blocked. Once I turn off Fake Website Shield, OpenDNS routing works fine.
Normally I would just leave the Fake Website Shield off, however there is an icon and warnings showing my children that it is turned off. They turn it on and this bypasses the website blocking functionality of the router. How can I resolve this so that my children cannot access websites I have disallowed?
