hi, I've tried to installing AVG ultimate onto my Alienware 64 bit windows 7 laptop. I've tried installing probably 5-6 times each failing to one of the error codes above. Each time I've uninstalled the program using the AVG remove tool. while installing, the percentage count downloads to 75%, then installing only as far as 93% then says installation fails. I don't have any other anti virus/malware software installed apart from the standard firewall installed. I've tried installing with and without the firewall on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ive had a reply from an admin requesting a photo(screenshot) is there an easier way to attach a photo? Seems like an over complicated system to send a pic. This does seem that you are leading me to purchase the 'we'll install it for you for $19.99'. Surely the installation should be a straight forward process! There is a lot of questions about installation failing? I'm thinking maybe I should have purchased a different product from a different company?? Hindsight is a wonderful thing…
