A few months ago, I went to buy AVG ULTIMATE in a Staples office not far from my home and this morning, I noticed that in my AVG account, the activation key for AVG ULTIMATE has been registered but on my AVG installed, in the section "my subscription", it is AVG Internet Security that has been registered and not even with the activation key in the box of my AVG ULTIMATE … There is surely an error? I can understand what is this false registration please, because I do not like it at all?!?

We're here to help. Please note that AVG Ultimate is just the name of a package which includes AVG Internet Security and AVG TuneUp in it. When you install this on your PC, the apps installed are named as AVG Internet Security and AVG TuneUp and it is expected behavior. Regarding the activation key, it will not be same as the code you received in the box.
The sole purpose of the code you received in the box is to register the product with your AVG MyAccount and it is not the code used to activate the product. I have sent an email, please share a screenshot of your the code that you are looking at to validate it.
