To take a screenshot in MAC, please follow the below instructions : 1. To capture the entire screen, press Command-Shift-3. The screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop with the filename starting with “Picture” followed by a number, example Picture 1, Picture 2, and so on.
2. To copy the entire screen, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program like PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, etc.
Thank you

You sent me a link to the same uninstall article that says "Click the AVG AntiVirus Menu bar, and click Uninstall AVG AntiVirus."
As I replied before, there is no uninstall option in dropdown menu from menubar icon for AVG Antivirus.

How do I stop AVG Antivirus from making false ID of threats?
In Safari on Mac Sierra, I used Print command to save as a PDF of the Wikipedia entry for Richard Oakes (activist), and received AVG Antivirus "Threat blocked",
PDF:UrlMal-inf[Tr] Richard Oakes (activist) - Wikipedia.pdf
"We stopped all threats from spreading and put them in Quarantine."
It does not happen when I saved as a PDF from Wikipedia entry for Malcolm X.
This has happened with other websites in the past.

Thank you for providing the screenshot, Darrell.

We request you to check for updates and make your AVG program up to date. If the issue persists, please proceed with the uninstall http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG-AntiVirus-for-Macand reinstall http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-for-Mac it. Uninstall instructions don't make sense - "Click the AVG AntiVirus Menu bar, and click Uninstall AVG AntiVirus."
There is no uninstall option in dropdown menu from menubar icon for AVG Antivirus.

I need to know how to uninstall AVG Antivirus on the Mac.
See thread above. There is no uninstall option in drop down menu as instructions claim.
I cannot use other uninstaller because it won't install a program that's running,
and AVG Antivirus will not quit in Activity Monitor, and I cannot force quit it.
Every time I do, it starts back up again.

@Aravindh - How am I supposed to submit my PDF when AVG Antivirus whisks it away to "quarantine" not to be found.
When I search my Mac for "Richard Oakes (activist) - Wikipedia.pdf" nothing is found.
I can print and save as PDF other webpages from Wikipedia, but not one for Richard Oakes.
What makes you think my Mac would save one Wikipedia webpage as a "legitimate source" and another Wikipedia webpage as an illegitimate source?
Is this all a waste of my time and peddling time for AVG employees? or what?
