Hello, I am on a windows 8 running machine and have been trying to access a website for a reputable business and am being blocked from viewing the page using AVG free. I am either getting "This site cannot be reached" or after creating an exception in the settings for the sites (one log in, one homepage) I get a message on my browser for the homepage saying "The site you are about to enter contains malicious content" (albeit, I am able to get a glimpse of the site before it refreshes to this message. I have the latest version of the free software running and am wondering if there is something else I can do to be able to see the site.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Brett.
The threat message is appearing from AVG antivirus program for the URL that you accessed via AVG secure browser.
If the URL is accessed via another browser then the threat detection should popup again from AVG Antivirus program.
We have checked the "portal.outswitch.com" URL in virustotal website and see that it is completely safe.
Hence, you can proceed to reinstall AVG secure browser and see whether you get the threat detection again.
Keep us apprised.

So with the reset I was able to view the site, but now when I go to log in, the ad blocker engages and brings back the initial phishing message. I have attached a screenshot with details.
Thank you for the screenshot, Brett.
