False Positive: AVG Continues to Block Twin City Automotive Website

Hello AVG Support Team,

I am requesting assistance with a suspected false-positive detection affecting the official Twin City Automotive website:

Website: (Link removed by Admin)

The website is the legitimate official website of Twin City Automotive, an automotive repair business located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

AVG is currently blocking the website and preventing users with AVG protection from accessing it. This is causing a significant issue because legitimate customers may be unable to access the business website.

We have already submitted the website for false-positive review multiple times, but the AVG detection/blocking issue continues. We have also attempted to work with AVG technical support, but the issue has not yet been resolved.

We are requesting that the AVG Threat Labs team manually investigate the website and identify the specific URL, resource, script, or detection signature triggering the block.

We would also appreciate clarification on:

  1. What specific threat or detection is causing AVG to block the domain?

  2. What URL, file, script, or resource is triggering the detection?

  3. Whether the domain can be reviewed and removed from AVG’s blocklist/blacklist if the detection is confirmed to be a false positive.

  4. If there is something on the website that is triggering the detection, please provide the specific technical details so we can investigate and remediate it.

Please escalate this to the appropriate Threat Labs / false-positive analysis team if necessary.

    Thank you.

@user1548, our team has made some updates and tested this and the site is no longer flagged.
Please test and confirm if you are no longer experiencing the false positive on the page.
