False positive form is semi-broken

Thank you for your reply. The link you referenced is the same one from my first post. I've previously tried the following:

  • Submission via Chrome, FireFox and Internet Explorer. I even tried Edge from the Windows 10 preview.
  • Shortened the message response in case it was a character limit.
  • Removed all commas and other characters it may hang on.
  • The file size is under 5 MB: the actual file is 4.42 MB uncompressed. Compression doesn't shrink it much further.
  • Renamed the file from EXE to TXT in case it was hanging up there.
  • Tried the compressed file with and without a password.
I've basically gone the full gambit with the same result each time. Do you have any other suggestions?

I keep trying to submit a false positive request yet AVG's automated system keeps rejecting the file. Every time I try uploading the flagged file it loops back to the entry form instead of the confirmation success page. Out of curiosity I tried an exe from Windows and it didn't have any issues. This tells me AVG's system is blocking the other file regardless to if its zipped, password protected or renamed. The whole point of submitting a false positive is to get rid of an incorrect flag. How can I submit a false positive without it getting immediately rejected or whatever else is going on?

For reference the steps outlined in the False Positive submission steps are being followed.
