Hello Ash,

We're sorry for the inconvenience.

This could be a false detection. Sometimes, this might happen if our virus definitions don't include the pattern of your website, which results from incorrect reporting.

We'd suggest you submit a false positive request via this link.

A group of analysts reviews the software for malicious or unwanted activity. Websites/Applications that are both free from malware and meet our guidelines for transparency can be whitelisted.

Our concerned team will analyze it and get back to you.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am on a Windows 10 machine, running AVG and I have False Positive URL:Phishing message on the site:

https://www.sales-tax-application.com

It is our website.

My question is:

Why does AVG detect it as phishing?

What the criteria does AVG have to classify a website as phishing?

What we have to do for change this behavior?

It is very frustrating to see a False Positive because this means that other users who use this antivirus cannot enter our website.

Thanks in Advance for your assistance.
