Family sharing - installing on non-windows devices

Regrettably, the Family Sharing feature currently allows AVG subscriptions to be shared with Windows devices alone.
However, you can install AVG Internet Security on the devices of your household and use your activation code to activate it manually.

As the main subscriber I can download the installation package of AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device) for my mac. However when I share it with other members of my family, they can only download windows installers. What am missing?
