File restore failed message during startup each morning

Hello Stephen. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.

The logs you submitted were received and are in the process of being analyzed by our development team.

In the interim, as a necessary troubleshoot, I would like to ask that you completely uninstall your AVG AntiVirus and reinstall to the latest version.

The following self help, https://is.gd/rI9F8h, provides detailed instruction (including pictures) to uninstall AVG AntiVirus using our uninstall utility (AVG Clear).

Thereafter the uninstall, you may download and install the latest version of AVG AntiVirus from the following site: https://is.gd/YmpsNF

Let me know how this works out for you, or if the disruption is persistent beyond the uninstall/reinstall of your AVG AntiVirus.

All the Best, Shawn

I did a repair of AVG as requested & it worked for one day (ie yesterday) but to-day the file restore failed message again appeared during the morning startup.  Any more suggestions?

Specific to your concern, I understand you are seeing this notification, at the bottom right corner of your screen, upon starting your computer.

Does the message go away thereafter? Are you experiencing any disruption when using your AVG AntiVirus?

I am inclined to suggest, as a process of elimination, that you first try perform a repair of your AVG AntiVirus.
