File scan results don't appear

We understand your concern, not to worry we will definitely help you with that. We would like to inform you that the Scan Results will only appear if you have a Infected File. If the file is not infected, the Scan will complete automatically and there will be no Scan Results. Hope this resolves your issue.

When I right-click on an individual file to scan it, I don’t get any results – I just see “Scanning…” for a second or two and then the regular dashboard returns.  I want to look at Options but I don't see it.   There is a menu on the AVG dashboard that contains Device, Settings, Online Support, Help and About.  And there is a menu on the AVG Antivirus Free that contains Settings, Quarantine, Data Safe, File Shredder, Support, Help and About.  I have looked through all these menus but see no “Options.”  This makes me feel as if something is missing from my installation.  I have Version 17.2.3008 and AVG Build 1.162.2.62416.
