Hi Theo,
In AVG File Server Edition, "connections" refers to the number of machines that are connected to the files server. If the server is not used in this way, just choose the minimum number. http://www.avg.com/gb-en/faq.num-389
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Im not a business, but have a server at home with 2012 R2 Essentials, for personal use… Ive been looking at AVG File Server, but require some clarificaiton over the "Connecitons" element.
My personal devices have free AV installed, and Ive never seen any need to have anything more. Im simply looking to have AV running on my server, so would the 2 connections license suffice? What does the "connecitons" actually refer to?
Thanks
