Yes, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling 3 times. My guess is that there was something blocked at the time the scripts were running for the installation. I am not sure that I enabled the permission correctly in the security screen but the block alert does not appear when I try to install now.
Has the senior team come up with any answers yet?

Hello, Mary.
We're sorry for the delay in response. We hope that the your issue with File shield, Web shield and Email shield in AVG Anti Virus for Mac has been resolved now. If the issue persists, please check for any conflicting anti virus programs and uninstall them. Then allow the AVG extensions in Mac security settings as per the steps in the following article https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Allow-AntiVirus-extensions-macOS-High-Sierra.
Just thought you should see this screen shot also, seems that the program is expecting something from your side:
AVG AntiVirus
Version 18.3
Scan MAC works
File Shield, Web Shield, Email Shield will not turn on
macOS High Sierra
Version 10.13.6
I am a registered user of AVG Unlimited. Why will these option not turn on? Am I protected?
