Since you have already tried reinstallation, it is necessary to analyze AVG log files.
I have sent an email instruction on how to collect and send us the log files.
If the email is not found in inbox, do check in spam and junk folders.
i am using avg antivirus free for windows xp. since 3 weeks ago the file shredder feature isnt working. when i try and right click onto it it just boots to the main avg antivirus window. when i tried accessing the file shredder thru the menu option in avg antivirus nothing happens. i tried the repair feature in avg but the problem still is there. i uninstalled avg antivirus free and installed the latest free version (2017) which i allready had but still the file shredder doesnt boot no matter what.
please help.
