Thank you for sharing the screenshot.
Please deselect Firefox as default browser, set it again and scan for weaknesses.
To change your selected browser:
Open AVG Password Protection.
Go to Menu ▸ Settings.
Ensure Selected browser is selected in the left panel, then use the drop-down menu to choose an alternative browser.
I had to download Chrome to be able to remove Firefox, there wasn't anywhere to remove Firefox on the main screen or menu, it works okon chrome but reinstalling Firefox it just says there are no passwords yet I have 35.
Michael, AVG Password Protection can only protect one browser at a time.
When you click Scan For Weaknesses, AVG scans the browser currently marked as your Selected browser in the bottom-right corner of the main application screen.
So if it is Chrome that is selected, please change it to Firefox and scan again.
If you could not find the Selected browser option, please share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/3hmUdkG) of AVG Password Protection user interface.
Could you provide the screenshot of the scan result?
And this is on a brand new Lenovo laptop
I did what you said earlier but couldn't disable Firefox, no links anywhere, so I downloaded Chrome which put the link there to disable Firefox, I scanned Chrome and that worked fine, I then disabled Chrome and reenabled Firefox but it still didn't find any passwords.
there isn't a drop down menu to change browser, the laptop I am on is brand new and there isn't a drop down menu to change browser on the other laptop either
