Firewall - Allowed connections multiple entries

I followed the steps you provided and changed the ethernet setting from public to private and some other settings under System rules. Looks like the issue is now resolved, thank you very much. I have using Norton for so long, but your support is 10x better than theirs, exceptional! Norton used to slow down my system, I have not seen that issue with AVG so far.

Hello Saad,
I understand that you have added the application to AVG Firewall application rule and selected the option (ask, when application not listed in application rule), let's work together to fix this issue. I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private) at first (Please change the Ethernet Adapter to Private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK, reboot your computer once and check if still the application asking for a permission.
Best regards,
Alok.

I have setup firewall rules for some programs, but it asks again every time I open those programs to allow or deny internet connection. Now, I have multiple entries for the same programs.

Saad,
