Firewall and AVG AntiVirus switched off after Windows update

Thanks Santhosh, however, what I wanted to know is not how to disenable AVG. It's quite the opposotite. I got a text on my screen that AVG was switched off and so was the firewall including the Windows firewall. So I asked how can I enable AVG again after this Windows Update. Adiitionally: Tune Up is installed but keeps on asking to be installed and activated. These are things I don't understand.

Dear all, two questions:
1) My firewall and AVG AntiVirus are switched off after Windows 10 update! Although my AVG apps claim they're active, I get the message above. How can I switch AVG firewall and Antivirus protection on again? My screen shows the option: switch on AVG, but nothing happens… What's the problem and how can I solve it?
2) Additionally, in the AVG menu under subscriptions my subscription for Tune Up keeps on saying 'activate and install', while all other subscriptions ar 'active' (which should meean that they work), but whatever I do Tune Up keeps on repeating the message 'activate and install'. Thanks in advance

Hi Robbert,

We will help you with the necessary information.

You can turn on the AVG from the system tray on the bottom right corner of your desktop.

Further, you can turn on the Firewall from Hacker attacks -> Enhanced Firewall.

Regarding the AVG TuneUp, have you activated the program?

Please share us the screenshot of the exact issue.

Keep us posted.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Re: You can turn on the AVG from the system tray on the bottom right corner of your desktop. -> I don't see a system tray…
