Let's check if the AVG Internet Security Firewall configuration is made as per the recommendations.
Please open AVG Internet Security icon - Click Menu - Click Settings - Click Components - Scroll down to Firewall - Click Customize.
Enable the "Internet connection sharing mode" and "Allow all connections with Friends when in Private mode".
Click on System Rules - Enable the "Allow File and Printer sharing" and "Allow remote desktop connections to this computer" - Click OK to confirm it. Click on "Network profiles" - Change all the Networks to "Private" - Click OK to confirm it.
Please check if that fixes the issue and keep us updated on the progress.
I am trying to connect my surface pro to a windows wireless display adaptor. When the firewall is enabled I cannot get them to connect. What settings need to be changed for these products to connect to each other
