I have a site on Wild Apricot which has recently started timing out when in 'Admin' mode. Wild Apricot engineers suspect an error in the AVG firewall software. In their latest update to me they say…

Our system engineers have been in touch with Avast's support team, and they've notified us that there was a bug last week with their firewall which they patched on Friday.   It's possible that this was a similar issue with AVG.

Could you please check to make sure that your AVG Antivirus (and firewall) are both up to date, and then try accessing your site again?

If you're still experiencing issues, it might be a good idea to reach out to AVG's support team from your end to see if there's anything specific that they can suggest in terms of troubleshooting, or that we're missing.  Our team is unfortunately having a bit of trouble replicating the issue, as it only seems to be experiencing some users with AVG, and not all of them.

I do have the latest AVG software (17.3.3011) but my site still times out whenever in Admin mode.
Doe anyone have any suggestions?
