Firewall defender off and avg off

Hello again
A couple of days ago the pc told me that Windows Defender firewall was off and AVG Antivirus was off, and although the antivirus was on as far as I could see, you kindly left steps for me to uninstall and reinstall avg antivirus ultimate. This fixed the matter.
Tonight I was using my pc when and ear deafening high pitch occurred, and I got a notice on screen that my files were eradicated, and the pc was in a mess…I immediately used Task Manager to remove the nuisance, and I thought I had,
When I tried to open my pc again it was very very very slow, and bits and pieces of the screen contents loaded bit by bit.
I used AVG Tune up to see what it could do, and of course it got stuck into lots of highlighted matter and cleaned it all up. The pc is fast again as I thing AVG item saved me.
The problem is that the Microsoft warning is here again saying Win Defender Firewall and AVG Antivirus is off again ??  But I can see that AVG antivirus is in fact on…

Cant understand how I got this huge attack when I am enmeshed in lots of AVG security.

Would someone be kind enough to look into this  for me please?

Best wishes my friends

Colin

Good morning, Colin. We see that AVG Firewall is enabled & protecting your computer against emerging threats & hackers.

We're unable to view the last screenshot. If the Windows Security says that AVG Firewall is on, then everything is on track.

If not, Windows security seems to be reporting incorrectly. The Action Center/Security Center acquires information about the current status of installed antivirus software by using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). If there is a problem in the WMI Repository, or the WMI service is not started, the Action Center reports outdated or misleading information. You can scan and repair the WMI Repository by following the steps in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Troubleshoot-unknown-antivirus&supportType=home).
Note : Follow the steps below Scan & Repair WMI (after choosing Win 10) from the above link.

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, Colin.
Upon checking it, we see that the Windows Security (Action center) reports that AVG & Windows Firewall are disabled.
Once AVG is installed, the Windows Firewall will be disabled automatically to avoid conflicts. Hence, it is usual with Windows Security.
However, we may need to check the firewall status of AVG. To check this : Open AVG Internet Security - Hacker attacks - Check if Firewall is enabled.
For better clarity, share us the screenshot of it as well.

Our pleasure, Colin. We're glad that all have worked out. Thank you for updating the status. Have a great day!
