Avast:
I have waited a few days for answers to your questions. In the meantime, I scanned my computer several times a day (on and off) to see if the problems had been resolved.
The problem has not yet been solved. Occasionally I have no protection against ransomware and I have to manually re-enter this item.
Now my answers to your questions: yes, my Firewall components (ransomware) disabled, and yes I still have a another virus scanner on my computer. This virus scanner, together with AVG Internet Security, has never given any problems and works well independently of each other.
The problems for me started with the new update version of March 12, version 190323-0. I don't know what is going on with AGV but if I read the current reviews on your site, i think I am not the only one with this problem ....
Please do something about it, I want protection against ransomware.
Thanks in advance
Hello Peter,
Let's have a look at it together.
Do you mean your Firewall components gets disabled automatically?
Have you installed any third party security product on your device?
Let's reinstall your Firewall component and check if that helps.
Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Enhanced Firewall -> uninstall and reinstall it.

I scan my computer every day, but the last week I have noticed that almost every day my "hacker attacks" mode (firewall) does not work properly.
Every time I have to adjust it manually.
I have Internet Sececurity (paid version 19.3.3084).
How is this possible, this should not happen, AVG!
This is an undersirable situation.
AVG, please act immediately to resolve this huge problem as quickly as possible.
With regards,
P. Bijen

Thank you for providing us the information, Peter.
Initially, it is not recommened to have multiple security programs on the same computer. They will conflict with each other & none will work effectively.
However, as you say that they both worked fine earlier, please try to repair AVG program. To do so : Go to control panel - Programs & Features - Programs - Right click on AVG - Select Uninstall - Select Repair in the Setup wizard - Restart the computer & check if it helps.
If issue persists, you can go ahead & try reinstalling the Ransomware component as our colleague has suggested in the intial post.
