I quote from my second post in this thread what the fault is;
"I have checked the task manager when this fault occurs and neither the filter driver nor the firewall are running.
Because the filter driver CANNOT be installed due to an invalid digital signature the firewall CANNOT run."
Now that you know the fault you SHOULD have a solution that has no need for me to connect to an insecure remote connection, I don't like nor trust these after the last experience I had so don't ask me to do this again.
Hello Jim.
Thank you for the information. I request you to update your AVG to the latest version to get the issue fixed.
I really appreciate your patience.
Hello Jim, Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement https://www.raymond.cc/blog/loading-unsigned-drivers-in-windows-7-and-vista-64-bit-x64/ might help you to install AVG completely. Please do let us know the status of this. Thank you.
Hello Jim.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. So, you do not find any options where you can ignore the Invalid digital Signature on your computer? Thank you.
There is no way it can be ignored during installation.
I've already tried several programs before including this one and not a single one would get past the 'Accept' screen.
It is 2012.
I have checked the task manager when this fault occurs and neither the filter driver nor the firewall are running.
Because the filter driver CANNOT be installed due to an invalid digital signature the firewall CANNOT run.
Hi Jim, I apologize for the inconvenience, Could you please provide the complete name of the program you want to install and if you face any issue with AVG Firewall please use this link http://avgread.me/1G3omO8 to know how to allow application in AVG firewall. Let us know if you have any issue, Thank you
Hello Jim. It should be possible to ignore invalid signature during installation (it needs to be ignored several times). Also I request you to make sure if your system is functioning properly as the diagnosis tool has never failed to work so far. Thank you.
Please follow these steps to send us diagnostic information from your computer. This information will allow us to analyze the situation and provide you with a solution:
Click on this link http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe to download the AVG SysInfo tool.
Run the downloaded tool.
Click Continue to agree with AVG’s license agreement and privacy policy. AVG SysInfo will now gather the data.
Once the diagnostic output is ready, you may add comments, or click Attach file or Screenshot to provide us with extra information.
Fill in your email address, and then click Send output.
We will analyze the received files and provide you with further information. Thank you
NOT my PC, 100% YOUR SOFTWARE AT FAULT.
You KNOW FULL WELL there is an issue with the driver signing in Win 7 Ultimate. Drivers must be 100% signed or they are blocked from installing. Clearly yours isn't!
THIS IS A WELL KNOWN AND WELL DOCUMENTED ISSUE THAT YOUR DRIVERS ARE NOT SIGNED CORRECTLY OTHERWISE THEY WOULD WORK FIRST TIME AND I WOULDN'T BE ON HERE TRYING TO FIND A FIX WOULD I?
Well, over two months on AVG still haven't bothered to try and fix the issue. All they seem capable of is fobbing paying customers off with excuses as to why they can't provide software that even works properly.
So, if you want software that works and competent customer service GO ELSEWHERE AND AVOID AVG LIKE THE PLAGUE!
UTTERLY USELESS COMPANY THAT SIMPLY DON'T CARE WHEN YOU EXPOSE SERIOUS ISSUES WITH THEIR SOFTWARE.
The filter driver in 2012 WILL NOT install because YOU HAVE AN INVALID DIGITAL SIGNATURE. This sends the firewall into an endless restart loop for which there seems to be no cure despite it having been a major issue FOR THREE YEARS.
I have followed all proceedures and help articles none of which actually do anything to resolve the issue. The software I was advised to download to diagnose the issue also didn't work.
I feel that this is extremely poor service that you don't resolve problems especially serious ones. Even 2015 is WELL KNOWN for having constant issues with the Identity Protection not being functional.
Do you ever even bother to fix such major issues or were you hoping to brush it under the carpet by deleting my previous topic?
Jim, angry customer.

Tried all ways and dead as a Dodo. No diagnostic software on your site will run.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused Jim. Could you please try running Sysinfo tool in Safe Mode? To boot your PC in Safe Mode please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode and do let us know the status. I've been down every aisle with this already without any solution.
YOU NEED TO GET THE DRIVER SIGNED CORRECTLY IN THE FIRST PLACE.
