Hi, I'm running AVG Internet Security 16.1441.7998 on Windows XP SP3
All works well most of the time. But within the last week or so, on several occasions, a Firewall error occurs, usually Windows gives me a warning. But I often don't notice it.

The error reads: "Firewall cannot start due to corrupted configuration…"  and instructs me to reset to default value. I did this once, but the error did not clear. On subsequent occasions, I have rebooted the computer. AVG starts up okay and the Firewall says it is happy. It can run for several hours without a hitch and then go into the error mode.

Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you
