Hello everyone!
I just got a notification that AVG no longer offers firewall in its Android app. While I understand that rooted devices can be unsecure, this isn't necessarily the case. For instance, my OnePlus 5T is rooted with Magisk running a custom ROM: Bliss OS.

While it is rooted the system storage is still encrypted and Magisk has biometric security built in. It is set to require fingerprint authentication for all superuser level requests.

I know not everyone uses this for managing root access. I used to use SuperSU for my old phone but that phone wasn't encrypted anyways.

I just wanted to share this. I didn't really use the firewall for much but it was nice to have the option. I can always use the system controls for management of network permissions.

Thanks for a good quality antivirus. I would love to see more granular control for scans and other features like ESET offers in their security software if you guys are heading that direction. Also, it would be nice to have more control over what is displayed in the app's interface. The side menu feels sort of cluttered with entries for advertising other AVG apps.
