Firewall is blocking connection to LG Smart TV

To do so : Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - Full protection - Enhanced firewall - Enable 'Internet connection sharing mode' by checking it.

We will work together to fix this issue. Have you checked the firewall Network profile whether it is still in private mode? Also, check the System rules if all the configurations has been allowed.

When first trying to connect my LG TV to my laptop I had connection problems that were solved by following these instructions:
Change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the networks from public to private)  then go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if they're not configured then click OK.

After a Windows 10 update today, this is no longer working. However, I updated my AVG software a few days ago so the problem is quite likely related to the updated AVG.

Switching the firewall off allows the connection between the TV and laptop so the issue is related to the firewall.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
