Have you tried a uninstall / reinstall of AVG Internet Security? the problems you are experiencing right now , might come due too currupted files : first of all download the AVG removal tool here and save the file to your computers desktop ( 32 or 64 bit due to the opreating system you are using : Install AVG on your PC, Mac | AVG installation files once download of this file is finished , uninstall AVG the usual way , restart your computer when asked. once booted back up , run the AVG removal tool , this specialized tool will remove any remnants ( folders , registry keys , possible left over drivers ) from the previous installation. if the removal tool asks for a computer reboot , do so. now download a fresh installer package for AVG internet security and reinstall again. if my suggestions will not repair your current problem , please let me know Barry AVG VIP/HOF/GURU
I currently run AVG Internet Security 2014, and over the past couple of days the firewall has been turning itself off randomly and making me restart my computer to start it up again, I have tried a full computer scan and updates which haven't worked, any solution ideas?
Sorry, User name should have been Mitchell Round in last post.
