Hi@all
I have the same issue, especially with Google Chrome. Using AVG Internet Security, currently in this Version:
It's completely annoying to get confronted with these questions again and again. The option to "Remember my answer" has no effect.
Any ideas?
I'm still having this problem, especially with Chrome.exe - I get lots of popups asking for confirmation despite clicking all the options on the dialog (Allow, OK, etc, etc). I've even attempted to adjust the rules manually to allow all Chrome access, but it still asks me multiple times per day. I'm pretty sure this coincided with an update in April.
OK, I reinstalled AVG. At first everything worked well in ASK mode, but as soon as I connected via openVPN again a bunch of pop-up windows, new ASK window every minute.
I feel the same way as you, buddy. I connected to a remote supporter two times but they failed to correct the problem. As another buddy said, each time I changed the internet condition (e.g. from direct connection to a VPN connection), a bunch of popups comes.
We appreciate your patience, Втьалий.
This is a known issue and our developers have fixed it.
The fix was released through an update.
Refer this article and perform the program update.
Open AVG Internet Security program window.
Click on "Menu–>About" and check whether you have 20.2 version.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We do understand your concern. The logs required are regarding AVG files, your system info (windows config), etc.
Before proceeding to proceed with collecting the logs, we'd request you to clarify whether the progam isn't allowing you to modify the firewall option that seeks permission whenever an app attempts to access internet.
If you haven't tried modifying the firewall settings, please do follow the below steps & let us know the outcome :
Open AVG - Menu - Settings - Full protection - Enhanced firewall - Below 'For programs with no defined rules' choose 'Auto decide' from the drop dow box.

I'm getting fed up now - here is a popup asking about Chrome, along with the fact that Chrome is set to all "All connections", so there should be no need for a popup. Having managed to get through on Chat earlier (it isn't currently working) the suggested solution was to have the default as "auto decide", rather than "ask". That isn't acceptable, and completely undermines the security rules I want to apply.

simple solution - remove AVG product and buy something better. is it correct?
I have problem with windows Firewall. I gave internet permission to programs such as svchost, system, chrome and so on, firewall still repeatedly asks for permission to allow them to access the internet, a BUNCH of pop-ups after the latest updates. Every day I spend 20 minutes to give access permissions to the applications to which I gave access permissions yesterday.
Hello Втьалий,
We apologize for the inconvenience. This isn't the experience we wanted you to have with AVG.
We have forwarded your request to our senior team. Once we receive an update, we will write back in this post.
Your patience is appreciated.
Hi, Vit_Lo, the newest update solved the problem. Sorry to hear that you changed to Kaspersky. By the way, is Kaspersky better?
Hi Steve.
We see that you were in touch with our remote assistance team a while ago and unfortunately, it was disconnected when the technician had to restart your PC.
Please get connected back to our remote assistance team and they will be glad to continue to help.
Thank you, unfortunately I can’t verify it, I removed AVG and bought Kaspersky.
Best regard.
This method is implemented in Kaspersky, and if I would like to this manually, as you suggest, I would buy Kaspersky!!! it is even cheaper than AVG product.
