Thanks for prompt reply & have found your email offering remote assistance. Would like to mention that I have also realised this morning that my computer has also lost audio! Last time I recall audio working fine was before I noticed firewall issue.
My concern is that will not be able to communicate verbally with your technician & also would like to be able to listen to multimedia too. Do you have advice to first help resolve audio issues so that I can understand what is happening to computer if the remote assistance works? Thanks!
Also Microsoft Office 2013 seem to be hanging intermittently. My audio issue screenshot :
Hello Eve, I understand that you have received email to reach our remote agent but you are concerned that you will not be able to communicate effectively since your audio devices doesn't function. I would like to let you know that you can communicate with the remote agent via chat and hence you do not require audio devices to reach our remote agent as of now. Thank you. Kishore, AVG Customer Care.
Have serious issues, have AVG internet security PRO on Win8.1 pro & noticed yesterday that firewall error "Firewall cannot start due to corrupted cofiguration. Please create new cofiguration by clicking reset to default" which I did numerous times & also have also restarted computer in between for good measure. Despite clicking on reset to default, nothing changes & main screen shows "You are not fully protected" with firewall box in red displaying "ERROR" instead of the green "PROTECTED" in the other boxes for computer, web, identity, email… At this time, have also noticed that get the message "task host is stopping background processes" and my control panel shows an empty window only when I try to open this, which has never happened before! Cannot access update / recovery. Is my computer infected with an awful virus / worm / trojan / malware? Please advice, thanks.

Hi AVG support / Cusmoter Care, I was offered remote assisstance in email about 1 week ago, but was not able to attend to this immediately due to certain life & work commitments. However, I am now having difficulty even accessing the link to AVG remote website. I am not sure if this is a time dependent service or offer. My computer remains in the silent sphere since audio not working and persisting problems with control panel and other issues. Hope you may be able to assist ASAP in this matter. Thanks, Eve
