Did you try to add that bank website under AVG Exceptions and check if it helps?
Open AVG Internet Security and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
Select General ▸ Exceptions, then click Add exception.
Add an exception in one of the following ways: Type the specific file/folder path or URL into the text box, then click Add exception.
Also, please open AVG AntiTrack program.
Click the Allowed websites tile on the AVG AntiTrack dashboard.
Add a website to your list of Allowed websites using either method below:
Select a website from the Choose from popular options drop-down menu.
Enter a website URL (for example www.example.com) into the left text box, then click Add.

I got a new PC but have not been able to log in to my bank. This is the only page I've had problems with. I enter my user name and password and all I get is a page "redirecting me to online banking." I've spent many minutes (1-2 hours) with several staff in their tech support - tried a different browser, updated the browser, deleted cookies, etc, etc. The latest possibility is a firewall is in the way. I have AVG Internet security - where I thought I'd find something on a firewall - but no idea where it may be. Anyone have an idea on that?
