Hi Stephen,
We will help you to get this issue resolved.
Is the issue occur with particular application or with all Windows applications?
Please enable AVG Firewall, try access an application and share the screenshot of the error message if any.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Are there instructions for adding firewall exceptions for Windows Store applications? I have added an application that works beautifully when the firewall is off, but fails when the firewall is on. It seems as if I can only write a rule for a specific EXE file, rather than an general rule for specific traffic.
Thank you for the screenshot, Stephen.
Let us change the network profile of AVG Firewall and check the status.
Open AVG Internet Security program interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Customize" of Enhanced Firewall.
Click on "Network Profiles" and see whether the network connection type is set as "Public".
If yes, click and change it to "private", click Ok and check the status.
