Please refer to this article & enable the following AVG Enhanced Firewall System rules:
1. Allow Windows File and Printer sharing
2. Allow remote desktop connections to this computer
Once the above system rules have been enabled, restart your computer once & check if the issue persists.

I recently upgraded to full (paid) coverage. Noticed that my Epson scanner would no longer recognize my laptop. A few times i was able to temporarily turn off the firewall and scan. Now that doesn't work.
I have checked the wi-fi info is correct and matching. it will print from computer, just not scan.
updated drivers and firmware. please tell me what box to uncheck to make it work again.
Something to do with a blocked port? I'm not that savvy.
