Firewall stopped

Hello Kellersmann,

I understand that you are facing an issue with firewall component. Please provide the screenshot of the warning message to assist further. To take a screenshot, please refer this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot

Thank you for providing screenshot Georg,
From the screenshot, I see that you're using AVG Internet Security old version. In this case, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Internet Security. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. Please follow the instruction ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product ) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool. After the computer reboots, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security on your computer.
Best regards,
Alok.

Actually some other meeage appears in the utter right corner of the screen, Notification area, but it disappears immediately. It tells me that Firewaal was stopped. But opening AVG interface it shows that Firewall stopped indeed. After some minutes it is active again, but what happens in the meantime?

Every time I start my laptop AVG gives the warning that the Firewall has been stopped. I didn't stop the Firewall myself, so who (what kind of program) could have done that action?

Georg, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
