I too have this problem and it puts me off as a continuing customer if no answer is forthcoming to get rid of this intrusion except to wait for a few days as it's advertising (which is not wanted!)
Hi Keith, extremely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have fixed this issue and you wont be receiving the pop up messages anymore. If you still receive any pop up messages regarding AVG, I request you to move your mouse pointer towards the top right corner of the Pop up. You will be able to close it by clicking on that close option present there. Thanks.
But the dialog is actually switching input to the dialog from the application I am running. It is TERRIBLE!!!
If it takes a couple of days, you will loste me as a customer. And I've been a customer for a LONG time and I recommend your product to everyone.
This is seriously bad. I understand advewrtising but not when it interferes with normal use of the PC.
Another related problem is that when I come into your Community help system and put "Fix common PC problems" into the search box, your system cannot locate any queries about it - even though they seem to be prolifc. You apparently need a better search tool for your help system.
I too have this annoying pop up. Frankly not having to put up with this sort of thing is exactly the reason for paying for the AVG products I use. Perhaps this unwanted advertising is acceptable if you use the free version but not if you have purchased the product. I am both very annoyed and very dissapointed.
AVG keepes opening this dialog. It is making the PC unusable. Isn't that the definition of virus? or malware? How do I stop it?

I certainly understand that Keith. We really do not want to lose a valuable customer like you. We have been getting lots of customers lately regarding the same issue. So we have escalated it to the concerned team with high priority. It will be taken care ASAP. Thank you.
