This isn't the expected behavior, but we can sort this out.

It looks like you haven't tried running "AVG Clear Tool" to remove latest version traces of AVG.
Run clear tool as mentioned in this (article) and install AVG.
If you are using AVG Antivirus free, follow the steps as mentioned (here) to install it.

I am having an issue with "Fix Now" and that my computer isn't protected and when I click to fix it doesn't work. Have tried uninstalling, repairing, and using the removal tool.  Please help
