Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
I suggest you to disable AVG and check once. To disable AVG, select the AVG icon on your System Tray right beside your clock. Right-click on the AVG Icon and then click on ON to turn it "OFF".

I have downloaded the most recent Flashplayer several times, yet Firefox does not see it. Sites which need Flash do not work. I wonder if AVG is preventing Flash from working.
