Follow up to password protection turning off

I would like to inform that a complete reinstall of AVG Internet Security is the known solution to resolve this issue. Our developers are further analyzing this issue and it should be fixed in future releases of AVG.

I have the same issue with the password protection turning off but I'm able to turn it on. The problem is I have no ideal how long it remains on. I do know when I start up every morning it is off again. AVG's  uninstall and reinstall suggestion is not for me because I'm not a computer wiz. Why can't AVG just send an update like they have done in the past? This has obviously occurred on one of those updates and you should be smart enough to figure it out.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE  password protection keeps turning off … manually before i connect my internet  i open to see Hacker Attacks password turned OFF  manually i turn it back on  then go to my internet and turn it on  never fully KNOW SECURE that it may have turn off again . I can uninstall program/app and reinstall that is not an answer to a PAYING CUSTOMER FOR TWO YEARS of your service I  asure you will not be renewing with AVG  will look for other security apps/programs
