Followed directions from AVG Scan Now have issues

How do you confirm that AVG program causing this issue?

I did a scan and AVG showed an issue that was a risk… I think it was in privacy or security. I followed the directions to address the issue. Now, none of my apps work. When I click on the app, it opens, tries to load, and then blanks out. No games, No Kindle, No Email!  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, reset, rebooted, tried to backtrack, and fix permissions. Nothing has helped and I really don't want to do a factory reset. Anuy suggestions?
