We will help you to resolve the issue with AVG Tuneup maintenance scan. when maintenance scan running in progress, it will ask user to close down the browsers. As you do not wish to close browsers during the scan, you can uncheck the option for Cache cleaning and tracking cookies in AVG maintenance scan settings.
Refer the below steps to know how to change maintenance scan settings :
Open AVG TuneUp and go to Menu ▸ Settings.
Select Automatic Maintenance in the left panel.
You can see "Choose what to delete in maintenance scan"
Uncheck the option of Browser Cache and tracking and other cookies.

To whom it may concern,
Every time I run maintenance the program on AVG Performance it usually ask permission to close the browser to clean the cache, tracking and cookies. When I give it access, it signs me out of all the previous websites that I have to login in again and again. I always have two way authentication so this process gets annoying to deal with. I have uninstall, reinstall and modify the program but for some reason this only occurs with google chrome. Is there a way around the problem or a new update or is this just the new norm that I am going to have to get use to. This may be a big deal breaker for me if so.
