: Difficulty understanding foreign suport agents with limited English skills and heavy accents
This is the last time I'm writing the same question. I've asked it 3 times and gotten 3 responses from AVG that totally irrelevant to my question. I suspect they're coming from bots.
Here's one last shot. I bought a $50 package from AVG to solve a serious virus program online. I made many follow-up calls with different agents. Most of them had very heavy accents, which made it difficult to understand them, so I had to keep asking them to repeat what they were saying. Naturally, this prolonged the calls by anywhere from 20-50 extra minutes. Although they all seemed technically capable, many had a very limited English vocabulary, so they had trouble understanding some of my questions. This also prolonged the calls.
Here's my question now: I'm considering buying the AVG Internet Security program, which includes 24/7 support. Does this 24/7 support staff consist primarily of foreigners for whom English is NOT their first language? I don't mean to be rude or offensive, but I can't subject myself to the same frustrating, time consuming experiences with internet security problems. One of the previous replies said the their staff were "English speakers", which evades my question. I need to know if they are NATIVE English speakers. If the majority are not, I will quit AVG and take my business elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH ANOTHER IRRELEVANT OR EVASIVE RESPONSE OR I WILL CONTACT THE PRESIDENT OF AVG ABOUT MY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RESPONSES.
