Hello Pete,
Files located in App date could be temporary files. It might not be a false positive. You have already moved that file to Quarantine list so it is safe to work on your computer now.
Hello.
After the last update this evening 17:30 my time. i ran a full computer scan and found 3 html:paypal-b threats. I found this strange as i also ran a full scan before work today with no threats detected, then i turned off my computer until i came back from work. When i booted my computer avg updated and found this in the next scan. What im asking is then, is this a false positive? Was able to put them in quarantine but want too know if i can be safe working on the computer or not. And as the threat says its a paypay threat, but i dont use it on this pc at all.

Hey, ty for the reply, Thats good to hear. So i can just proceed to delete the file in quarantine and continue using my pc like normal then? Was just curious bcs it only showed up after the update and have been given a scare 2 times before over false positives in avg. But felt i needed to ask anyways. Also do u have any hints and info on how i could figure out if anything was leaked? Found out that this kind of things phish for ur info so figuring if password changing etc is needed.
We appreciate that, Pete.
Thank you for the screenshot.
It's not a false positive and do not worry, the threat was already moved to quarantine so it's safe to use your Pc further. You are fully protected by AVG. You can initiate scan using AVG and check its status.
Hey again:)
Ok, i will delete them then. And i dident take a screenshot of the scan when it was open so the best i can do atm is a pic of the quarantine.
