Fraudulent renewal practices

21 Dec 2017
AVG,
I recently was coaxed into renewing an AVG protection service in which I had already paid for. I investigated my AVG account and I found that AVG had intentionally overcharged me for a service which I still had a year left of coverage. After more investigation I found they have done this multiple times previous to now.  Order # 36-3845960 AVG Internet Security 2 year License was purchased on November 20, 2014 so it should have expired by Nov 20, 2016. I was coaxed on March 30, 2015 to purchase yet again a 2 year license # 35-4151122. As of today I have received another "coaxing" to purchase another AVG Internet security. By my calculations I should not have to renew my Internet security until November 2020. Apparently I'm not the only one this has happened to because I keep reading about it here in the community. I am seriously considering a cancellation/refund unless these fraudulent business practices are rectified.
