Hi
so i downloaded AVG Antivirus and have been trying to run a complete system scan as i was experiencing issues with Safari being overtaken and browser pages opening unrequested, to sell crap to me.
I am running a Macbook Air OS is El Capitan .
The scan runs to 98% complete then crashes having identified 2 threats. The following copy is from the start of the issue log
Application Specific Information:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'unhandled finish status'
abort() called
terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException
Any help would be appreciated
