It is particular sites. I am using the free version on a Macbook Pro, the screens shown on the page where the "here" link takes you are not available. There are no menu or setting links availalble.

Is the issue occur with a specific website or with all websites? If AVG blocking access to a particular website, please add the website in exceptions list as mentioned here and check the status? If the issue is with all websites, please try in alternate browsers and let us know the outcome.
I have been using the free version of AVG for several years now, in the last couple of days it has been blocking websites. When I turn off Web & Email protection, the sites are able to be accessed. I have read various threads here, but cannot see how to fix the problem.
When I logging there is no menu button or settings buttons available.
