Same problem.
So I installed the 2018 version and removed my 2015 version = SAME PROBLEM
keeps saying NOT FULLY PROTECTED
even though Update Now says SUCCESSFULLY UPDATED - YOU ARE FULLY PROTECTED

THIS 2015 version has LOCKED ALL MY FOLDERS -   all, all, all, docs and pics give message LOCKED FOR EDITING BY UNKNOWN USER !!!

What the heck is this???   My computer is now unusable!!!

Hi
I am using free AVG protection for past 10 years.
so far it automatically updates itself.
But now two weeks back onwards…the protection stops and become red colour…every day need to fix and update…then it changes to green colour…

Please let me know the steps to make it automatically run…without making update every day…
